Well, I'm still running Linux. My desktop is filled with all the glory of Gnome along with the clock applet in the panel. That panel has some great integration with the Evolution email client.
That is great if you are running Evolution, but I've given up on it in favor of Thunderbird a while back. I'm also running Chandler for my calendaring and todo needs.
The trouble is that the Gnome clock applet doesn't shot my appointments and such.
Well, as it turns out, there is a way to get Chandler events to show up in the Gnome clock applet.
It's really rather easy. Simply choose File -> Export -> Notes and Events to .ics file... and direct the output to $HOME/.evolution/calendar/local/system/calendar.ics
Yup, that's all there is to it.
